Beautiful Boscastle

This weekend is the Boscastle Food, Art and Craft Festival. It will once again be held by the main Boscastle car park by the beautiful Valency Valley. Tickets are a bargain at £3 each at this family-friendly weekend of events.

There will be 12 chefs taking part in cookery demos in the food tent, some of whom also hold Michelin stars and AA Rosettes. TV chef, sustainable living expert and co-star of The Hungry Sailors, James Strawbridge, will be opening the Festival of foodie delights.

There will also be an Arts and Crafts marquee showcasing a wide variety of talents including many from the local area.

A series of fun, interactive events suitable for all ages will be taking part in The Green Scene along the bank of the River Valency. There will be apple pressing, archery and metalworking along with many more demos and workshops along the theme of sustainable crafts and skills.

Still with availability, why not book this Grade II listed, stone and slate cottage (sleeps 8) for a last minute holiday break? In the centre of Boscastle, you won’t have far to walk to get to the Festival for what promises to be a fun weekend in a stunning part of the country.
