The charming South-Devon sailing town of Dartmouth is set to come alight on 11th December when hundreds of hand-made candle lanterns parade through the town’s streets in a procession to mark the start of the Christmas season.

Commencing on the Friday the festival starts with a seasonal market, which takes place in the town’s market square. In the early evening the magical parade of paper and willow lanterns, many of which are crafted by local school children, will weave its way through the historical town’s labyrinth of winding streets, serenaded by live musical accompaniment.
